

Jesen miriše na jabuke sa cimetom – i one tokom jesenje sezone postaju naš omiljeni dodatak različitim jelima. Jabuke koje su začinjene cimetom mogu da se iskoriste kao dekoracija za ovsene kaše, chia pudinge, vafle, palačinke i druge obroke. Međutim, pored neodoljivog ukusa, jabuke sa cimetom mogu da imaju i brojne benefite. Upravo zbog toga, ova cozy poslastica postaje naša (gastro) opsesija tokom jeseni – i pripremamo je u velikim količinama.

Ovaj dodatak jelima donosi spoj kuvanih jabuka koje pomažu u detoksikaciji i poboljšavaju varenje, te cimeta koji je bogat antioksidansima i reguliše zdrav nivo šećera u krvi. Pored toga, ovaj spoj pomaže u smanjenju upala – te je idealna topla poslastica tokom nešto hladnijih dana u godini. Add the apples, 1/4 cup of water, apple cider vinegar and cinnamon to a saucepan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium low, cover, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the apples are just tender, about 10-15 minutes (timing will depend on the type of apple you use and how big the pieces are). 2. Meanwhile, add the arrowroot and 1 tbsp of water in a small bowl and stir to combine. Once apples are tender, add to the saucepan and cook for another 2-3 minutes until the liquid thickens. - dve veće jabuke (očišćene i iseckane)
- 1/4 šolje i kašika vode
- pola kašike jabukovog sirćeta
- kašičica mlevenog cimeta
- prstohvat soli
- kašičica kukuruznog skroba
- pola kašičice ekstrakta vanile
Priprema
U šerpu stavite jabuke, 1/4 šolje vode, jabukovo sirće, so, ekstrakt vanile i cimet, te kuvajte na srednjoj vatri do ključanja. Nakon toga, smanjite jačinu vatre, poklopite lonac i kuvajte jabuke sve dok ne omekšaju. Po potrebi, povremeno promešajte. U zavisnosti od vrste jabuka, one bi trebalo da omekšaju za 10 ili 15 minuta.
U međuvremenu, u posudi sjedinite kašiku vode i kukuruzni skrob. Kada jabuke omekšaju, u lonac dodajte kukuruzni skrob i vodu. Kuvajte još nekoliko minuta – dok se tečnost ne zgusne. Jabuke sa cimetom servirajte uz željeni obrok.
